Money Can’t Buy Common Sense

A handbag that’s smaller than a grain of salt was sold for over $63,000, just 2 weeks after the high-end fashion brand behind the bizarre accessory was mercilessly ridiculed for the creation. Brooklyn-based MSCHF found itself at the center of a social media backlash after it debuted the tiny purse — which is so small you need a microscope to see its design. Aptly named the Microscopic Bag, it measures less than 0.03 inches and is narrow enough to pass through the eye of a needle. Despite social media users slamming the bag, it has been sold to an anonymous buyer. The neon green bag was made from a 3D printer and was modeled after Louis Vuitton’s OnTheGo MM bag, which typically retails for $3,100.
