Pre-slicing Frozen Pizza Is a Win-Win

When you buy a frozen pizza, you buy the whole pie. You bake the whole pie, you eat what you want, and you toss the leftover pizza into the refrigerator. Unfortunately, reheated pizza is never as good as the first time. The good news is, that never has to happen again. You can have a better frozen pizza experience by simply pre-slicing the pizza. Just cut the pizza into single servings before you bake it. That way, you can decide how many slices you want and only bake those slices. The remaining slices can be wrapped individually, which saves you space in the freezer. Just slip them in wherever there is room. Then, when you’re in the mood for a slice of pizza, just take out a slice or two and pop them in the oven for a first-time-around experience. You can also toss them into your air fryer, which only takes 5 minutes at 400ºF. You can even cut the leftover pizza slices into bite-size pieces to serve as hors d’oeuvres. To pre-slice frozen pizza, leave the pizza at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Cut the pizza with a long knife and a strong downward motion. Use plastic wrap, foil, Ziploc bags, or reusable containers to store them in the freezer. While this may be goodbye to leftovers, it’s hello to less waste and more freezer space.
