Valerie Bertinelli has given her cooking show a farewell toast. The Golden Globe winner, 62, ended the 14th season of Valerie’s Home Cooking on April 9th. She admitted that she was hoping that network would change their minds after they cancelled the show last summer and still doesn’t know the reason why the show was not renewed. “I loved making the show,” said Bertinelli. “It was such a dream come true.” Valerie’s Home Cooking premiered in 2015, featuring the actress cooking modernized recipes passed down through her family. She would then invite celebrity friends to share the meal with her. The good news is that Bertintelli will continue to co-host Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship, where she is a judge alongside baker Duff Goldman.
