Authorities in Madisonville, Kentucky, say Felicia Howard showed up at the Hopkins County Detention Center on Sunday, ready to post bail for an inmate. Unfortunately for her, the 39-year-old tried to pay the $1,400 bond with 15 fake $100 bills mixed in with real currency. The deputy recognized that the bills were fake and arrested Howard. Major Jason McKnight said the fake money was “for motion picture purposes only.” Howard was charged with First Degree Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, a Class C felony, and released on $1,000 cash bond. Of course, the bond money was thoroughly checked to make sure it was real. Howard was released and is awaiting her court date. She faces up to 10 years in prison if found guilty.
