Love recently soared to new heights when a man had a very tall friend help him propose to his girlfriend. When Lila Batiari and Zachary Gladnick changed their travel plans to explore Northern California, Zachary saw it as the perfect opportunity to propose. The pair went to B. Bryan Preserve in Point Arena, where Zachary had a plan that included the help of a very tall giraffe. He knew Lila would love it, because she’s a veterinarian. The couple booked a “giraffe painting tour,” which the preserve describes as a "45-minute rare opportunity to help a giraffe paint a canvas.” Each participant holds a canvas while the giraffe paints it. Guests may also feed the giraffe treats before leaving with their 8X10 masterpieces. Priced at $100 per guest, all proceeds go to the care of the giraffes at the preserve. Zachary and Lia got Mazi as their giraffe/artist. Lila took to social media to post a photo of Mazi’s painting, captioning it: "Here I thought we were just taking a picture with his masterpieces. Zach planned multiple things for the days leading up to it, to throw me off. He pulled off a good one.” Zach had replaced his painted canvas with one that read, “Will You Marry Me?” next to a red heart. On bended knee, Zachary proposed, as curious Mazi leaned his long neck over the fence, seemingly admiring the diamond engagement ring. Needless to say, Lila said yes.
