Chicken with Rosemary Butter Sauce



This elegant rosemary chicken requires minimal effort, but you will win major compliments. There are unbelievably beautiful flavors in the sauce served with this simple chicken. The butter sauce adds just the right about of richness. The process is a little “cheffy,” but you only need to try it once to taste the benefits when putting in just a little extra effort. 

Servings: 4

Ingredients:
  • • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (6 ounces each)
  • • 4 tablespoons butter, divided
  • • ½ cup white wine or chicken broth
  • • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • • 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary

Directions:
  • • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chicken in 1 tablespoon of butter, 4-5 minutes on each side.
  • • Set aside and keep warm.
  • • Add wine to the pan and cook over medium-low heat, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan.
  • • Add cream and bring to a boil.
  • • Reduce heat and cook, stirring until slightly thickened.
  • • Stir in rosemary and the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter until blended.
  • • Serve sauce over chicken.
