A snow plow driver caught on camera racing down the streets of a residential neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri, has left locals terrified. The unidentified driver was captured on a resident's doorbell camera as he was speeding along in the wee hours of the morning. The street has a speed limit of 35 mph, and snow plow drivers are required by the city to keep to a speed limit of 20-25 mph. The city’s snow removal is overseen by the Public Works Department, who says the city has approximately 6,000 miles of pavement to plow. When fully staffed, the department has approximately 200 vehicles on the streets, and of these about 65 trucks are assigned residential routes. Local resident Frankie Bellucci, whose doorbell camera captured the speeding snow plow, said: “Those blades can’t be close to the asphalt, They have to up some to be going that fast, and what happens if there’s an accident?” City officials are now conducting an investigation into the incident.
