Fox News Host Harris Faulkner Doesn’t Hold Back On What She Thinks of “The View”

Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner has called out morning TV show competitor The View, likening the left-leaning show to a recent Massachusetts council meeting that was mobbed by screaming transgender activists. The 59-year-old threw out some serious shade on the ABC hosts for resorting to vitriol and having a myopic worldview and dicey approach to facts. “On The View, there’s this sort of shout it, cuss it, do what ever you gotta do to get a little more attention around the hot topics,” said Faulkner. She let loose on hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Sonny Hostin after her 11 a.m. show, The Faulkner Focus, beat The View for the first time in a shocking ratings upset. She described how her Christian faith is a central part of her life, which is why she is opposed to transgender competitors in women’s sports. Faulkner went on to explain that she had watched The View when it was led by powerhouse journalist Barbara Walters, but now she’s not sure what the show is about, apart from a lot of talking and combativeness. “I’ve seen Sonny Hostin read so many apologies on the air recently for the legal exposure of some of the things that she and others have said on the show, and that’s dicey,” said Faulkner. During her own appearance on The View, Faulkner, who is married to a white man, said she was perturbed when Hostin brought up her race. "Sunny Hostin came after me. They had put a picture of my biracial children on a huge digital wall behind me, and she took the conversation to race. I knew my kids would be watching,” said Faulkner. She went on to say she believes her  show's superpower is that it's live, not pre-recorded like The View, as well as having guests with diverse political views. "I like a good competitor, it makes me better. So in some ways, whatever they have done over there, they've put me in a position where I can come out and win even more. So thank you,” said Faulkner.
