Foodies are taking to social media to announce that the discount chain’s knockoff — Oven Baked Fudge Mint Cookies — are just as good as the Girl Scouts’ version, but will only set you back $1.25. The cookies are currently rated 4.6 out of 5 stars on the chain’s website. Customers who aren’t able to purchase them in stores can also order them online. Described as “sweet, crunchy and refreshing,” the duplicate cookies can satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. Thin Mints are a Girl Scout favorite, selling for $6 per box. They are also available at Walmart, Amazon and eBay, but typically cost more than $10 a box. This year’s Girl Scout Cookies season will end in April, and customers can have the $6 cookies shipped to any address beginning February 21. Still, if you don’t want to shell out $6 or more, head over to Dollar Tree to get the knockoffs.
