Pizza Delivery Driver Was Tipped $2 After Walking Half a Mile Through Deep Snow

On January 10, while on the scene of a bus crash, Lieutenant Richard Craig of the Avon Indiana Police Department, encountered a young man delivering pizza on foot in an affluent neighborhood. The delivery man had parked his car a half a mile behind due to the closed road and finished the job by walking. When Officer Craig spoke to the young man, he discovered that he had only been tipped $2 on a $40 order. That’s when Officer Craig decided to set up a GoFundMe page to raise a generous tip for the conscientious delivery driver. After the fundraising event went live, people showed their support by raising $29,042, with over 1,400 donations.
