Applebee’s Reveals the Eye-Watering Price of New Year’s Eve Ball-Drop Tickets

Applebee’s has revealed the jaw-dropping ticket price for its annual New Year’s Eve celebration in New York. Guests of the chain willing to spend at least $729 will have the pleasure of celebrating New Year’s Eve at Applebee’s on 42nd Street in Times Square. Fans can also score a private couple’s package for a whopping $2,299. Others hoping to score other private or shared tables for 2-6 guests would need to spend anywhere from $779 to $999. The 42nd Street Applebee’s is located only half a block from where the New Year’s Eve ball drops, and guests can enjoy a view of it from the west side at midnight. Guests will benefit from an open bar and a complimentary glass of champagne. The event is open to visitors of all ages, but the restaurant has a 500-guest capacity. The prices will increase as availability decreases. The celebration at the restaurant begins at 7 p.m. and the all-you-can-eat buffet runs until 11:30 p.m. Some of the appetizers and dinner choices include Avocado & Shrimp Ceviche, Beef Empanadas, Sliced Top Sirloin, and Creamy Penne Pasta Primavera. The party will also include a house DJ, open dance floor, big-screen TVs, and New Year’s Eve party favors. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and all attendees under 21 will be served non-alcoholic drinks at the bar. Guests who wish to have their coats checked will need to pay an additional $5 to $10 in fees. The restaurant noted that it will not give refunds or credits to attendees if the view of the street or ball drop is unavailable.
