Fabio Antonio Arbelaez is a self-proclaimed Tesla aficionado with roughly 25 years of pizza experience under his belt as longtime partner of Columbia Inn, a casual dining restaurant in Montville, New Jersey. What makes Fabio stand out from the crowd is his innovative approach to mobile dining. He repurposed and outfitted two Tesla Cybertrucks into pizza-making power machines. Operating under the title The Jersey Thinn Crust Pizza, the trucks can crank out fully cooked thin, crispy, handmade pies in just 2 minutes. The cargo beds of the trucks are mounted with double-stacked ovens that run on a 240-volt outlet. By having fresh ingredients easily accessible and adding a conveyor belt, fresh pizzas quickly flash through a scorching 600ยบ oven. The decked out trucks even have a custom-built slide for the ovens, so as soon as his crew parks the vehicles, they can quickly pull the slide and get to cooking. The trucks can operate for 8 hours on a single charge, making them ideal for busy events. The tow hitch also supports 50-foot umbrellas to cover the workstation. Fabio even added a space for a refrigeration unit to hold a passenger-side dry ice cooler…….after all, you can’t enjoy a hot slice of pizza without a cold beverage.
