Gardner Barbara O’Neill has taken to social media to reveal her top hack for getting rid of flies, mosquitoes, and other bugs in a matter of minutes. All you have to do is mix a few ingredients together in a bowl and set a trap for the pesky insects. Just mix a half cup of vinegar, a half cup of olive oil, and a half cup of shampoo. Place the bowl in the kitchen and wait for the bugs to flock to it. Leave the mixture out for a couple of hours or until you feel all of the insects have been caught. Repeat if necessary. If you’re having problems with silverfish or moths, just add a few drops of lavender oil to a chunk of white chalk and put it in your drawers. You can also use peppermint oil to discourage spiders, mice, and other creepy crawlies. Bonus!……it leaves your drawers smelling fresh.
