Martha Stewart is one of the world’s foremost lifestyle gurus, but sometimes she gets it very wrong. The professional chef recently dined at the upscale Maison Barnes in New York City and decided to share on social media a picture of the dish she enjoyed. The photo left her followers in a state of horror when they saw her post of “chobster” — a roasted chicken stuffed with an entire lobster. Needless to say, social media users began commenting immediately with quips like, “This is barbaric!” and “That’s a lobstrosity, my friend.” Despite the backlash, the 82-year-old couldn’t stop praising the restaurant. She went on to explain that the chicken and lobster dish comes with a bisque sauce and spring rice………priced at a whopping $250. Other items on the menu include a $52 grilled sea scallop with black truffle salad, a $76 piece of peppered filet mignon with golden raisins and crispy potato puffs, herb-crusted lamb chops for $84, and sea bass in puff pastry and tomato Hollandaise that’s $195. And to think......there are people out there actually complaining about an $18 Big Mac meal!
