The Chevy Suburban Is the First Inanimate Object To Get a Star On the Hollywood Walk of Fame

It comes as a shock that the DeLorean used in the 1985 blockbuster Back to the Future doesn’t have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but a Chevy Suburban does. It turns out that the Suburban has appeared in more than 1,750 films over a period of 67 years, which is why it’s been honored on Hollywood’s most famous boulevard. According to Chevrolet, the Suburban has made a television appearance at least once every year since 1956 and has appeared in at least one movie each year since 1960. Additionally, it has made an appearance in more than 30 award-nominated films.
