McDonald’s has announced plans to expand its all-encompassing fast-food empire with a new concept called CosMc’s. The first CosMc’s will open in Bolingbrook, Illinois, as part of a limited test run this month, with additional locations opening in the months to come. If you’re wondering what’s on the menu, there’s a fairly broad new menu, with some choice McDonald’s classics thrown in for good measure. Beverages include a variety of specialty lemonades and teas, along with blended beverages like Sour Cherry Energy Slush, Tropical Spiceade, and cold brew. The drinks are customizable, you can add boba, flavor syrups, energy, Vitamin C shots, and more. Of course, it wouldn’t be a McDonald’s without tasty eats. The new food menu includes items like the Spicy Queso Sandwich, Savory Hash Brown Bites, and Pretzel Bites. If it’s dessert you’re looking for, have no fear — the new menu includes options like Blueberry Lemon Cookie Sundae and Caramel Fudge Brownies. Customers can order through a seamless digital system or at the drive-thru. The payment system is cashless and guides customers through the process. Once their order is ready, they will be assigned a pickup window. McDonald’s plans to open 10 CosMc’s pilot locations by the end of 2024 across the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio metro areas.
