Lydon Sutcliffe, who is 7 feet 1 inch tall, admits that he was mocked as a child for being so tall, especially after hitting 6 feet tall when he was just 10 years old. Today, the friendly giant makes his colleagues laugh when he arrives at work in his Smart Car. Co-workers say they get a kick out of watching Sutcliffe squeeze his 7-foot frame into his 5-foot-tall tiny car. Sutcliffe says he gets funny looks when he drives around his home town of Blackpool in the UK in his 2016 Smart Fortwo. “Everyone keeps asking me when I’m going to get a bigger car, but it’s actually comfortable,” said Sutcliffe. He compares his convertible Smart car to driving a go-kart, pointing out that he has plenty of head room with the top down. As for his attitude about his height, the 32-year-old says, “I want to spread positivity and encourage people to talk. That’s my mission. I’m a big guy with a big message.”
