“Pooph” — Does It Really Work?



Chances are you’ve seen the commercials for the cleaning product Pooph, which claims to get rid of stains on your carpet and eliminate odors in the process. The formula is claimed to be a combination of natural enzymes and mineral-based ingredients and is derived from living things. This enables it to break down organic matter such as feces and odor-causing molecules. Unlike other odor-removing products, Pooph doesn’t contain harsh chemicals or fragrances. It uses all-natural ingredients that have been proven to be safe for use around humans and animals. Moreover, it’s free of harmful pollutants like hydrogen sulfide. So, now for the big question: Does it really work? According to the reviews, it does not remove stains very well. In fact, some users claim it doesn’t work on even fresh stains. Does it remove odors? Users report that Pooph does not work as advertised. For example, one user said she used the product on a rug stained with cat urine, but the product not only failed to remove the stain, it also failed to remove the odor. There are also complaints about the bottle leaking and that the spray isn’t effective at all. One user said the product did remove the odor, but only after 90% of the product was used.
