Burger giant McDonald’s has said it will remove a tasteless sign opposite a crematorium in Cornwall, UK, after the unfortunate coincidental placement was pointed out to them. Although the sign has elicited laughter from the motorists who spot it on the busy highway, others fear it may upset grieving families. That’s because the sign is advertising the fast-food chain’s McCrispy burger. One woman, whose mother-in-law was cremated at the facility last year said that although she sees the funny side, it’s tasteless for families who visit for the cremation or funeral of a loved one. McDonald’s is taking it seriously, saying they weren’t aware of the road sign but have asked for it to be removed.
