Essentials like a gallon of milk and some pre-cut fruit costs about $20, hand soap runs around $25, you'll pay $19 for a single strawberry, ice cubes will set you back $32, and you'll pay $50 for a tote bag to carry it all in. Erewhon will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. While some New Yorkers may be excited about the introduction of the grocery chain frequented by A-list celebrities, West Village residents have expressed their disapproval, saying it will bring noise and crowding to the neighborhood.
