Iconic Breakfast at Tiffany's Brownstone Hits Market at $15 Million

Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's once said, “I don’t want to own anything until I find a place where me and things go together.” The iconic brownstone (above right green door) that was featured in the 1961 film might just be the place for fans to do that. If you want a slice of Hollywood history, this could be your chance. The Upper East Side brownstone, which was used as the facade for Audrey Hepburn’s socialite character, has hit the market for a mere $15 million. Located at 169 East 71st Street, the 5-story residence is still regarded as one of New York City’s most famous movie homes. The 4,465-square-foot home features 4 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, an elevator, a fully built-out basement, and recently underwent an extensive 3-year renovation that spared no expense. There's also a 30-foot landscaped garden with custom laticework, and two setback terraces. The home, which was built in 1910, features 10-foot ceilings and original architectural details.
