The panhandler whose floppy hair, chiseled good looks, and massive biceps took the Internet by storm turns out not to be down on his luck after all. William Albrecht, Jr. — dubbed “Brad Love” — isn’t homeless, but lives in a gated community with his father just 20 minutes from celebrity-laden Palm Springs, Calif. It turns out that he’s actually a registered nurse. That’s a far cry from the panhandler who could be regularly spotted holding a cardboard sign begging for cash on the Golden State’s streets, supposedly to support himself. “I have no interest in getting a job,” he wrote on Instagram. “If I wanted a job, I’d go get a job. I was a nurse, but I don’t want to do that. This is much easier. I hate to say it, but some people just don’t want a job, and I’m one of them!” It's not clear how much he makes on his street hustle, but he did post a message on social media claiming he made about $260 in just a couple hours last month. He also has a cash app account he advertises to his TikTok followers.
