While photo editing has been around for decades, for the first time in history a good many people are accessing these powerful digital tools to change their images. In such a very human manner, they tend to use them to alter their pictures way beyond reality. With the various filters and photo editing programs available, just about any “average Joe” can turn himself into Fabio with just a few keystrokes. Here are some of the most egregious examples of how a little Photoshopping can distort images to the point where they don’t maintain a shred of reality.
