An unidentified man reportedly bought a first-class ticket and re-booked it 300 times in order to get free meals from the VIP lounge of the Xi’an International Airport in China’s Shaanxi province. He used the ticket to gain access to the lounge, where high-rolling travelers dine for free. The next day, he would show up with his newly issued ticket for the revised date, eat, and then again change his ticket date. He did this over and over again for more than 300 times. Eastern China Airlines officials finally figured out the man’s scheme and put an end to it. Airline officials admitted that legal action wasn’t possible because what the man did is not against the law. The man has now been banned from the airport. Nevertheless, he had the last laugh, as he cashed in his fully refundable ticket and got back all of his money.
