A cozy, natural light-filled expandable mansion on wheels has just hit the market for a starting price of $346,000 — a perfect set-up for those seeking a life of luxury while always on the go. The Dutch company Expandable has created what they call the “Expandable Mansion.” When set up, the lavish vehicle spans 805-square-feet and is complete with everything a homeowner would need. Futuristic technology allows the vehicle’s wheels to be moved from underneath the trailer to the back — completely out of the way — without taking up any interior space. To set up the trailer, the owner drops the moveable legs to separate the trailer from the tractor cab through the control panel, which, in turn, lifts the wheels into the air. Once the retractable axle is activated, the wheels move from below the trailer to the back using a set of rails. Once the wheels are out from under the trailer, the home lowers to the ground using its hydraulic legs. The 38-foot model comes complete with a kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. Buyers can upsize to the company’s 53-foot option if their budget allows.
