A new crop of kids is set to make its debut come the new year, as Generation Alpha — those born between 2010 and 2024 — is being phased out, making room for the new Generation Beta, which will include those born between 2025 and 2039. Generation Beta will make up 16% of the global population by 2035, many of which are expected to live to see the 22nd century. As the next generation gears up to enter and eventually make their mark on the world, others anticipate Gen Beta will be extremely technologically integrated. For those who are unaware, these are the generations that came before Gen Beta:
- The Greatest Generation (1900-1924)
- The Silent Generation (1925-1945)
- Baby Boomers (1946-1964)
- Generation X (1965-1979)
- Millennials (1980-1994)
- Generation Z (1995-2012)
- Generation Alpha (2010-2024)
