West Virginia Man Shows Off Tiny Home That’s Only 19 Square Feet

A West Virginia man has built the world's smallest home, which measures less than 20 square feet, and only cost him a few thousand dollars to build. Levi Kelly, 27, is vying for a Guinness World Record after he built a 19.46 square foot home that features a bed, a kitchen, a toilet, a shower, and has air conditioning. The home sits on a trailer, so he can hook it up and haul it anywhere he likes. Astonishingly, the home only cost the father-of-two $5,000, not including the cost of the trailer that he already owned. Kelly’s goal in building the tiny home — besides breaking the world record — was to have something small but functional. He says his only regret is failing to put in a ventilation system, meaning all the hot air gets stuck at the top of the home. For a "quick" tour of the home, check out the video below.
