Krispy Kreme Is Expanding to McDonald's — and They're Giving Out Free Doughnuts This Week to Celebrate

Would you like a doughnut with your Big Mac? Krispy Kreme doughnuts are starting to arrive at McDonald’s nationwide, so the bakery chain is giving fans a sweet freebie to celebrate the partnership. In March, the two companies announced that McDonald's was working to carry some Krispy Kreme products. Now, select locations in Chicago will start serving doughnuts on Oct. 15 with a plan to extend to 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants by the end of 2024 and eventually to 12,000 locations by the end of 2026. Three types of doughnuts will be delivered daily from Krispy Kreme to McDonald’s locations: the original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles, and chocolate iced kreme-filled.
