Arby’s Ends It’s Reign of Selling Only Roast Beef For the Past 60 Years

For decades, Arby’s has built its brand on roast beef sandwiches, standing out in a crowded fast-food landscape dominated by burgers. The chain, founded in 1964, didn’t introduce its first burger until 2022, and even then it was a limited-time offering. The burger was a hit, selling out in just 2 weeks and returning for limited runs in November 2022, May and November 2023, and May of this year. Now Arby’s is making burgers a permanent menu item. While Arby’s hasn’t responded to suggestions that the new burger will differ from the original Wagyu version, the company says the burger is here to stay. Fans can choose between the Deluxe Burger, Big Cheesy Bacon Burger, or the new BBQ Bacon Burger, featuring crispy onions, bacon, pickles, American cheese, and smoky barbecue sauce on a brioche bun. Arby’s burgers cost between $6.49 and $8.49, though prices may vary. Customers can also opt for the Deluxe Burger as part of the Tailgate Meal, which includes fries, a drink, and a turnover for $13.98.
