American Is No Longer Home To the Best Burger — Beaten By Spain

The U.S. is home to the biggest fast-food chains in the world and is thought to be where hamburgers were invented. Now, America is no longer home of the world’s top burger. That honor goes to a restaurant in Spain called Hundred Burgers. With 4 restaurants in Valencia and 3 in Madrid, Hundred Burgers was selected by Michelin Guide for Burgers as the best of the best. The restaurant’s claim to fame is its 120-day aged beef, which is described as “melt in your mouth,” and it’s super crispy bacon. Coming in second place is New York City's well-known Pizza Loves Emily, where the Emmy Burger is made with dry-aged beef, caramelized onions, American cheese and pickles on a pretzel bun.
