Wanted: Nantucket Seagull Who Stole Man’s Wallet

A seagull is wanted by the police after it stole a Massachusetts man’s wallet at a grocery store and flew off with it. Nantucket Memorial Airport manager Noah Karberg was at a Stop & Shop on August 4 when a seagull committed the shocking crime. A security camera caught the winged thief in the act, showing the cash from the wallet blowing away as the bird took to flight. Karberg hit social media to offer a $100 cash reward to anyone who finds his wallet and/or credit cards and driver’s license. “If you find it, you can keep the cash,” he wrote. According to Karberg, the bird seemed to have an agenda, removing the money from the wallet and keeping his American Express card while on the roof of a car wash. Anyone who spots Karberg’s wallet is advised to report it to the Nantucket Police Department immediately.
