Compared to some pundits, there’s nothing dry or mundane about Snoop’s take on the events. A little known characteristic about the rapper is his love of all things equestrian. Who would have thought? He shows up to watch the equestrian events in full dressage outfit, and he carries it off quite well. He also has a knack for being able to connect with the families of the athletes, sitting with the likes of Noah Lyles’ mother and Caeleb Dressel’s wife. Of course, we can’t see Snoop without seeing his buddy Martha Stewart, who has also captured the attention of the media. In case you’re wondering if Snoop Dogg is donating his time to the Olympics, think again. NBC is paying him a handsome salary.......to the tune of a whopping $500,000 a day.......and covering all his expenses. As for what’s in it for NBC, it’s all about the ratings, and Snoop is pushing them into the stratosphere.
