Shocking Cast of Celebrities Being Considered For “Dancing With the Stars” Will Leave You Scratching Your Head

Dancing with the Stars bosses are on the hunt for their celebrity line-up for the upcoming 2024 season, and the people they are pursuing will leave you scratching your head. With just a few months to go, executives have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to try to sign all the big name stars who have dominated headlines throughout the year. There’s just one problem this year: the proposed lineup is more of a freak show than a display of celebrities. Here are a look at some of the people the producers are trying to sign.

JLo's exes Cris Judd or Casper Smart: Producers are taking a sudden interest in the duo following media speculation that her marriage to Ben Affleck is in trouble. Judd and Lopez were married from 2001 to 2002, while the singer was married to Smart from 2011 to 2016.

Caitlin Clark: Caitlin Clark has taken the basketball world by storm this year, after becoming the all-time leading scorer (men's or women's) in Division 1 history. The producers asked Caitlin to take part, but she has respectfully declined.

The Baby Reindeer Cast: Breakout Baby Reindeer stars Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning are also on the producers' radar, after the show quickly captivated the globe. The show is on track to become the most streamed show of all time on Netflix, so DWTS producers are eager to jump on the tailcoats of its success by signing one of its cast members.

Shohei Ohtani: The popular baseball player hit headlines earlier this year when it was revealed that his interpreter had stolen $17 million from him. Since DWTS producers always have at least one sports figure in the lineup, Ohtani might just be it.

Joan Vassos: The Golden Bachelorette star is also being eyed to compete on the new season. Last month, the 61-year-old reality star was announced as ABC's first ever Golden Bachelorette after previously being featured on the network's season of The Golden Bachelor. On the show, she had vied for Gerry Turner's heart, but ultimately decided to depart the process early to take care of her daughter.
