FedEx Drivers Reveal the Items They Hate To Deliver

As summer hits full stride, FedEx delivery drivers are lamenting the items they most hate to deliver, saying they suffer more back pain than the NFL getting them delivered. At the top of the list are Chewy deliveries. The pet food brand boxes are often packed with pounds of kibble and cans containing wet food, as well as other physically dense items. Moreover, Chewy often repeats deliveries because of their subscription service. It’s common for their boxes to weigh 60 pounds or more. Coming in as the second most-hated delivery are tires. The rubber parts are a pain to cart around because they can weigh anywhere from 100 to 300 pounds. Oddly enough, mirrors are the third least favorite of FedEx drivers. Seven years of bad luck looms over drivers’ heads, with a 75% chance the mirrors are going to be broken before they’re delivered. They’re also heavy and at times unwieldy, adding to the difficulty factor. Last, but not least, mattresses are hated by FedEx drivers. With mattresses now regularly made of memory foam and stuffed into boxes a fraction of the size of the product, they can often weigh up to 150 pounds. One driver summed it up when he said, “Putting a mattress in a box should be a felony.”
