Speedy Window Cleaner Breaks World Record At Competition

A British woman followed in her father’s footsteps and broke a Guinness World Record by cleaning three office windows in 16.13 seconds. Aliscia Burrows (pictured above with her father), 33, cleaned the three 45X45-inch windows while competing in the Manchester Cleaning Show and ended up taking the record for fastest female window cleaner by .15 seconds. Burrows doesn’t work as a window cleaner, but the skill is in her blood. Her father, Terry “Turbo” Burrows, is a professional window cleaner who holds record for fastest male window cleaner at 9.14 seconds. Aliscia says her childhood was filled with window cleaning, and she would often accompany her father on his jobs. Now there are two trophies in the Burrows family and they couldn't be more proud.
