Man Turns Horse Trailer Into a Ski Bar On Wheels

Guy Williams left his career as a surveyor to pursue his dreams of carpentry. Wanting to earn a living on the road and use his carpentry skills, the 44-year-old came up with the idea to convert a horse trailer into a ski bar on wheels. Everything in the bar is made from recycled materials, from floor joists for the back bar to a cork ceiling in the lounge area. The bench seating was given to him by a friend who took over a building that used to house a cafe. Williams’ goal was to create a bar that would allow him to travel the country and have a good time with other people. He has almost no overhead, and being the only employee, he can work when he wants to. The bar, called the Fat Pony Social Club, was originally a 1983 Mercedes horse trailer and can now accommodate up to 19 people.
