In an ultra-feminine twist on a luxury cruiser’s generally stoic design, a pretty pink catamaran has been scooped up for $5.86 million by an unidentified tech entrepreneur. Built by Turkey-based VisionF Yachts, the 80-foot-long boat has what the company describes as an “unusual, eye-catching pink paintwork,” which makes it guaranteed to stand out from the crowd. The client requested that his yacht be painted a custom shade of pink, but it’s not just the exterior that’s reminiscent of Barbie. The furniture and carpets inside have a pink tint as well. Other amenities on the megayacht — which has 4 suites and the capacity to host 8 guests and 5 crew members — include a DJ console and a deck ideal for sunbathing or simply enjoying the sea views from the comfy sunpads and seating upholstered in weather-resistant fabric. There’s also a 580-square-foot saloon and a mobile stern platform that can be lowered for better water access and to take the onboard jet boat — which is also pink — for a ride.
