Air Fryer Fans Are Just Realizing How To Make It Self-Clean While They Eat

Air fryers have surged in popularity over the last few years as an affordable and healthy way of making food, but they can be a pain to clean. When it comes to cooking in smaller quantities, air fryers can be a cost-effective alternative to frying because it uses less oil. However, because of their size and awkward layout, they can be difficult to scrub. Now there’s good news — there’s a way you can enjoy your meal while your air fryer cleans itself. If you have a basket-style air fryer, simply put warm water and dishwashing detergent in the basket right after you use it and let it sit. By the time you finish eating, all you’ll have to do is use a sponge to wipe up the residue and it’s done. If you happen to have an air fryer with the removable tray, simply add hot water as far as you can see dirt or oil on the sides. Let it sit that way for 10-20 minutes, and then take a sponge and gently clear the sides and bottom with the water still in it. Remove the tray, wipe it with a sponge, rinse it completely with cold water, and you’ll be good to go. If you want to be proactive, you can line your air fryer basket or tray with parchment paper that can be lifted out after cooking.
