Avatar Director James Cameron Lists His Oceanside Ranch For $33 Million

Director James Cameron has listed his 102-acre home in California for a cool $33 million. The 68-year-old filmmaker is ready to let go of the oceanside compound after more than 20 years. The property boasts an 8,000-square-foot main house, a 2,000-square-foot guest house, a sprawling 24,000-square-foot barn, and a helipad. Cameron shelled out just $4.3 million for the ranch in 1990, putting his personal touch on the home over the next few years. The future owner will enjoy staggering views of the ocean and mountains, as well as a large pool encircled by trees overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The home boasts solar wind and power capabilities, as well as two wells that can be used for drinking and irrigation water. The main house contains 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, wall-to-wall glass, vaulted ceilings, a stone fireplace, and quartzite flagstone floors. The coastal ranch is located in Hollister Ranch, a gated residential community that boasts largely undeveloped stretches of beaches, bluffs and grasslands.
