It says a lot when loves comes back around later in life and you end up reconnecting with someone from your past in new and unexpected ways. Actors Patrick Duffy and Linda Purl were acquaintances back in the day, but reconnected on Zoom in 2020. The two began having daily Zoom sessions, admitting that it was nice to have someone to talk to during the lockdown. One night, when they were saying goodbye, Duffy accidentally blurted out that he loved Purl. From that point on, he felt as though they both knew there were was something real there that needed to be explored. He drove 23 hours non-stop from Oregon to Colorado to see Purl, and they were finally able to have their first date. Duffy, 73, was married for more than 40 years to the late ballet dancer Carlyn Rosser, who died of cancer in 2017, while Purl, 67, has been married and divorced four times. Although their romance has been 50 years in the making, the couple is now preparing to walk down the aisle.
