Dubbed as the real life Popeye, Jeff Dabe has something unique about himself that may surprise the average person. With a height of only 5’9” and weighing only 250 pounds, his arms are 19” around and his ring finger is a whopping 4.78” around. That gives him the gigantic ring size of 38. For comparison, the average ring size for men is a 9. The 58-year-old gentle giant also wears a size 16 EEEE shoe, but only on his right foot. His left foot is a size 10 EEE. Although Jeff has had larger than normal limbs since birth, medical experts have no idea why. Having looked for signs of gigantism and elephantiasis, the University of Minnesota concluded that there were no signs of the disease or abnormalities. Given the size of his giant paws, it’s not surprising that he chose to become an arm wrestler. Thanks to the World Arm Wrestling League, Jeff is now competing with people from all over the world. In 2021, he became a world champion after winning at the International Federation of Arm Wrestling's Grandmaster Tournament in Florida. Today, Jeff and his wife Gina travel all over the globe attending arm wrestling competitions and couldn’t be happier.
