The new smart spoon and bowl can make food taste 1½ times saltier, which is welcome news to the many people who love salty food but need to watch their salt intake for health reasons. The smart spoon and bowl feature ample space for a built-in battery, so there's no need to hook them up to a power supply every time you use them. Even better is the news that the new smart utensils are ready for market and are expected to hit stores in Japan early next year. The unknowns right now are exactly when they will hit the U.S. market and what the price point will be when they do.
