Cafe In Germany Gives Customers Hats With Pool Noodles To Keep Them Apart
European countries are starting to slowly come alive again, and one of them is Germany. This is not surprising, as Germany has been regarded as one of the countries that has dealt with the pandemic extremely well. On May 6, Chancellor Angela Merkel said that the goal of slowing down the virus had been achieved and that the first phase of the pandemic was over, while asking everyone to remain cautious so as not to cause a second wave. CafĂ© Rothe Schwerin recently reopened by serving its patrons outside. It also made sure to space out the tables to keep some distance between the customers, but they went a step further. Owner Jacqueline Rothe came up with an ingenious idea to use pool noodle hats to make sure the patrons keep their distance. So far, no one has objected. Rothe made it clear that the noodle hats won’t be a permanent thing.
