Enormous Smartphone Screen Makes For Better Sharing

Every now and then a bit of tech comes along that has all the hallmarks of a “must have” item, especially if it comes without cables, apps, or the need for Wi-Fi. Described as a “phone-first portable wireless display,” the new Takolink 15.6-inch screen aims to take the effort out of mirroring technology. If you don’t know what that means, don’t panic. This bit of tech is even better because it will work with almost any phone and doesn’t require any extra installments or setup. Since most of our digital lives are stored on our phones, we all know that there are many occasions when a small screen is disappointing. When it comes to videos, photos, social media, and even ordering food, bigger is definitely better. While the Takolink isn’t a touchscreen, it has clear buttons, doesn’t need configuring, and will work with all iOS devices from iPhone 4 and up, and nearly all Android models running 10 or later. At its simplest, the engineers behind the device say, Takolink is a standalone monitor that mirrors a phone display with a single tap, allowing content to appear almost immediately. As for the display, a motion sensor will automatically rotate what's on the screen from portrait to landscape, mimicking the behavior of your smartphone. The device also works independently of network coverage. Here’s where most people will walk away……..the price of the Takolink is $265 and is shippable to anywhere in the world.
