With more than half the country trying to dial back their sugar intake, there’s been a strange hole in the snack universe……..until now. For the first time ever, Nabisco is dropping a Zero Sugar version of America’s most famous cookie, Oreo. Yes, it’s the real deal, not a knockoff you would find in the back aisle of a pharmacy. Nabisco noticed that no sugar-free sandwich cookie actually tastes like the original, so they began working toward a full-time solution. The new Oreo Zero Sugar is exactly like the regular Oreo, minus the sugar. It’s sweetened with maltitol, polydextrose, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, and notably, no aspartame. Nabisco is also switching up the packaging with a stand-up bag built for glove compartments, backpacks, and commuters. Both Original Oreos and Double Stuf Oreos will hit shelves nationwide permanently in January 2026.
