Family Mix-Up Sends Child to School as Elvis Instead of an Elf

A school Christmas concert audience couldn’t help falling in love with a boy who went on stage as Elvis Presley instead of Elvis the Elf. However, 9-year-old Oscar wasn’t all shook up, and managed to perform with the rest of the children. It turns out the youngster had told his family he needed an Elvis costume for the play. His mother complied, sending him in full rock ’n roll gear. The family said that every year the school does something different. Last year Oscar was an alien, so when he said he needed to be Elvis, they didn’t think much of it. There was just one problem: Oscar had missed a crucial detail — he was to be Elvis the Elf. The family only discovered the mistake when he appeared on stage. Fortunately, rather than being all shook up, Oscar embraced his leading role and found the entire situation hilarious.
