When former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres moved to England a year ago, she put the blame firmly on Donald Trump, deciding to settle in the Cotswolds the day before he was elected president. Now the former talk show host is telling friends that she’s planning on spending more time in sunny California because she misses her friends and dreads the thought of another British winter. The 67-year-old originally moved to Kitesbridge Farm in Swinbrook, Oxfordshire, but put that 43-acre estate on the market in July for $29.7 million, saying she needed a home that had a horse facility and pastures for them. DeGeneres explained her transatlantic move by saying she left the day before the election and woke up to numerous texts telling her that Donald Trump had won the election. She emphatically said she was never going back, but apparently never is not as long as we thought.
