New Food Products Introduced

The introduction of a new food product is a complex endeavor that requires careful planning, thorough market research, and a solid understanding of consumer behavior. It's more than just creating a delicious recipe; it's about identifying a gap in the market, developing a compelling product, and effectively communicating its value to potential buyers. Here are some of the latest introductions.

Uncrustables Joins The Protein Trend — Uncrustables introduces its first new flavor in 10 years and first-ever limited-edition flavor with an extra dose of protein: “Up & Apple” and “Bright-Eyed Berry.” Up & Apple combines peanut butter and apple cinnamon jelly, and Bright-Eyed Berry blends peanut butter with classic strawberry jam. Both flavors include 12 grams of protein, which is the highest amount of protein ever offered by an Uncrustables product. They also offer more fiber and whole grains.

Ore-Ida Turned Tater Tots Into Croutons — For over 70 years, Ore-Ida has been bringing golden, crispy potatoes to tables across America, but when they saw fans swapping croutons for Tater Tots on social media, they jumped on the bandwagon. CrouTots gives salads a craveable potato crunch that only Ore-Ida can deliver. Ore-Ida Crispy CrouTots are available for $1.50 per bag

Salt & Straw and Taco Bell Team Up to Create the Tacolate — This isn’t just some Choco Taco lookalike. The Tacolate’s shell is a hand-pressed, extra crunchy waffle cone, loaded with cinnamon ancho chili ice cream, then dunked in single-origin chocolate, and dusted with toasted brown rice for extra crunch. Each one comes with two custom sauce packets: Mango JalapeƱo and Wildberry Cinnamon. Ice cream taco with sauce packets.

Goldfish and Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Grahams Are Back On Shelves Nationwide — Fall is fast-approaching, which means that pumpkin-spiced products are beginning to hit store shelves. Due to popular demand, Dunkin’ and Goldfish have teamed again for the return of last year’s fan-favorite Goldfish Dunkin’ Pumpkin Spice Grahams. Sweet with a touch of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg, the seasonal snack arrives at retailers nationwide, and online on Amazon, Walmart and Target, sometime this month.
