Tesla’s Supercharger Diner and Drive-in looks straight out of the movie Tron — metallic with a red and blue fluorescent sign and lighting outlining the edges. The glass entrance is massive, circular and automated, with a window along the length of the building in a classic diner sort of way. Outside, there’s seating and parking spots conveniently equipped with Supercharger stalls so you can fill your belly and your electric vehicle at the same time. Futuristic finishes abound in its spacious interior, with spaceship-like booth seating and a viewport into the kitchen. The diner, located on Santa Monica Boulevard in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Customers can be served directly in their vehicles if parked at one of the 80 on-site Superchargers. The restaurant can host up to 250 guests and includes a rooftop patio with views of the city. The menu includes a wide range of options, from breakfast items to classic burgers, along with sandwiches, fountain sodas, and traditional desserts like apple pie. Tesla says all dishes are made with high-quality ingredients. While a robot named Optimus serves popcorn, the diner also has human staff for other tasks.
