Peggy Lynn Marchetti (above, before and after), who spent $25,000 on a facelift, revealed recently what she wishes she had known before going to Mexico for the procedure. The 60-year-old has been sharing daily recovery updates on Instagram, finally revealing that she wished she would have had the plastic surgery done when she was 50. Why? Peggy says it’s because you not only heal faster, but your face and body still match. “Trust me, when you look 40, but your hands and chest tell a different story, it’s not good.” She went on to say that today’s facelifts are quite different because technology has come a long way. Peggy also shared with her followers that she wishes she had been more liberal with SPF, as years of sun damage have left her with discoloration, fine lines, wrinkles, and crepe-like skin. “Those UV rays as you age show up, and they rob your skin of all the radiance,” she explained. As for the cost of plastic surgery, Peggy says no matter where you get it, it’s not cheap. “You’re worth the investment in plastic surgery,” she added.
